Cycle 1 Geography Cards

**EDITED for new 5th Edition**

The school year is drawing to a close. I've already purchased books for next year and I'm excited about starting school again in the fall. This happens every year about this time. I'm way more excited about starting next school year than I am about finishing this one! The kids are ready to be done, too. Their activity level has been especially high the last few days. It's already VERY hot outside in the Florida sun, so our outdoor time typically involves water or it's just too hot.

With my excitement about next year and starting Cycle 1, I've been working on Geography Cards for next year. I've completed weeks 1-12 so far. I hope these bless you and your family.

5th Edition Cycle 1 Geography Cards, Weeks 1-12

And now -- weeks 13-24! Enjoy!

  3. Hi Erin,
I have done CC for the past 7 years and this is the first time I have ever seen something like this. The cards are a wonderful idea! Thank you for taking time to share your hard, yet beautiful work.

    1. Rachael, that's really strange. I know the links I had on CC connected weren't working well (took me 3 tries!) but everyone has been able to download them once they made it here. I can email them to you if you feel comfortable posting your email address here.

  6. Thank you for these. They are beautiful. Any idea when you will have the other 12 weeks done? Just want to make sure I don't miss them. :-) and once the year gets started I may forget to come back and find the rest. Blessings and again - thank you for sharing.

    1. I'm hoping to have them done by the end of the summer but if not, probably not until Nov. or Dec. I am a new director this year so I have a lot on my plate. ;) I'm glad you like them!

    1. I'm glad you like them! I've started working on weeks 13-24, but I'm a new director this year so I'm trying to get everything ready for the year. If I can't get them done before we start in August, I'll most likely work on them over the Christmas break.

    1. You can use them however you like. :) There was actually a thread on the Facebook *official* page about how people use them. Personally, I print on cardstock and the laminate with contact paper. I punch a hole in the corner and put on a big book ring. Then use for review.

  14. Awesome! Thanks! I loved these last year, I made 2 sets and we played go fish, memory and old maid. It is great to be able to put a picture with the words, especially in this cycle when the places are so far away (in time and distance).

  19. Thank you so much! I have printed similar ones for the other cycles, so I love this idea. My only suggestion for weeks 13-24 would be to add your CC user name/web address to the cards. That way, when my friends ask me where I got these awesome cards, I can tell them. For now, I just write it on the back of the cards so I can remember.
